Th3_Hub Rules

Welcome!

The Hub is a mostly peaceful community that welcomes you here. To keep the Hub exciting and fun there are a few rules.

I. Only one version of each character (there will be a list so you can keep up with which characters are unavailable).

II. No anon comments ever! This is a place where characters are free to try new things without fear of harassment. If there is a report of anon comments we will investigate and ban the guilty parties.

III. No god-modding of other characters in thread or through PM. If you don't like how a character is played by someone else, keep it to yourself and interact with others.

IV. Characters from ALL mediums AND original characters are welcome here!

V. Keep all threads in the main community pg-13 or lower. For those who wish to visit some of the *ahem* more unique businesses, please use the link to the Hub after dark community (18 and older only please!).

VI. Remember! In character conversations do NOT always equal out of character opinions.

VII. Most importantly....have fun and tag!

Application

Before you are able to join the community you must fill out an app for EACH character. Each mun can only bring in two new characters a month. There will be a character list and a reserve list so that you will know which characters are already in the community.

There will be two activity checks a year, one on January 1st and one on July 1st. The expectation is that you will have had at least three threads of ten comments minimum with your characters during that time.

Th3_hub_after_dark....if both mun AND character are 18+ you may request to join this community as well. Any type of thread that goes into a location that is labeled AC (adult content), or two characters will go past the pg-13 rating MUST move the thread into the after dark community. There is a link to that community on the main page.

We will accept characters from all mediums and original characters. Copy the application and email it to: th3_hub_mods@aol.com. Applications are due by midnight eastern standard time on Thursdays. We will notify you by email if your application was accepted within 48 hours of your application submission.

Here is a list of the different types of places in the various sectors. (Reminder, locations that have AC (adult content) next to them mean that you can find them at th3_hub_after_dark. Your character must be 18+ to go into these locations. All of these places are run by NPC's (non-player characters), which can interact as part of your thread if you wish. If you have an idea for a new business let us know by replying to this post and we will consider adding them.

Map of The Hub

The picture above is how The Hub looks from above (except there are nine circles around the center circle instead of six). The center circle is the Hub itself, this is where all residents will live. There are connecting tunnels from the Hub to the nine different sectors. The different sectors can only be entered and exited via the tunnels from the Hub. Any even that happens in a sector will not affect any of the other sectors nor the Hub. We will give a brief description of the different sectors.

The Hub
This is the center zone. The housing for residents is in the shape of a nonagon. Each side is filled with rooms that match the theme of the sector tunnel nearest to it. Ex. the side closest to the desert sector will have rooms that are similar to living in a tent. There is green space in the center of the nonagon. In the green space are some gardens and swimming pools for residents to enjoy.

The Forest
This sector is a healthy forest. There is game to hunt here, zip line adventures, camping, hiking, tree climbing, ect.

The Farm
Farmlands as far as the eye can see. Some production type of businesses like vineyards, mills, and dairy farms can be found. Perhaps a windmill or two as well is in this landscape.

The Jungle
Thick vegetation and exotic animals everywhere! Perhaps you are a hunter and you want some more thrilling game to hunt than what you have back home. Huge waterfalls and exciting rivers to go exploring in, just don't get lost!

The Desert
Explore ancient ruins half buried in the sand from massive sandstorms. Dig for fossils that can tell you awesome stories....of something past (or present). Magic users might enjoy getting some practice in without worrying about destroying half a building (or two). Just don't forget that water is limited.

The Mountains
Snow capped peaks, brisk thin air, amazing views of valleys...a true rugged experience. Test your fortitude by climbing the tallest mountains. Try your hand at skiing or snowboarding just watch out for those avalanches.

Medieval
Castles, moats, draw bridges, and the sweet smell of body odor. The wonderful sights from a Medieval time. Amazing architecture with stone and mortar, the development of armor and better quality weapons. Explore all of the hidden passageways of the castles. Go try your hand at some swordplay on the tournament grounds! Just be careful of those dungeons! They can be a real pain....

Urban
Ah....the sounds of cars honking, people talking on their phones, and some cursing both drivers and pedestrians alike. Large amounts of shopping, places to eat, activities to do, people to meet, and shows to attend. All of the convenience of living in a large city at your fingertips!

Future
All of the most advanced alien technology you could ever hope to see or use. The best medical services available instantly. Everything you can imagine available in just a matter of moments. Keep an eye on those robots, that could turn any day now.

Beach
Sand, sun, and surf what could be better than that? There are surf shops, cliffs to go cliff diving off of, some lagoons and caves to go explore. There is a marina where you can keep your boat if you enjoy fishing, or just being out on the water.
